Not sure if the Lightnings got the iron GT40 heads or not, but the rest all got "E7TE" heads. E7's are the same as '87+ Mustang 5.0's but with bigger head bolt holes. Performance-wise they are a step or so below GT40's.

Learn MoreJul 01, 2010 · pacesetter headers are cheap and fit the best according to alot of peoples experience. 5.0 MAF computer will work fine for a 351W. any cam you want you can use. the GT40 heads will only have to have there bolt holes machined out to fit the 5.8L bolts. the lower intake will work perfectly fine with the GT40 heads.
